Admissions

St George's Primary School is a Thrive Co-operative Trust School that continues to work in partnership with the Local Authority. The school’s Admissions Policy and Arrangements are in line with the Local Authority agreed policy, details of which are given below.

Applying for a place at St George's Primary


Nursery

Application forms for our Nursery are available from the school office. We admit children from the age of three. All children are eligible for 15 hours free of charge; if you believe you may be eligible for 30 hours funding please ask for more at the school office.

 

Reception

If your child was born between 1st September 2020 and 31st August 2021 you must apply for a primary school place between 1st October 2024 and 15th January 2025. Follow the link to the Hull City Council Admissions to make your application. If you do not submit your application before the deadline it will not be processed until after the first round of allocations has been made.

 

Other Admissions

Applications for a place at the school at any time other than those listed above must be made through the local authority. This can be done by contacting the admissions team on the number or email address below.

School Appeals

If we are unable to offer you a place at St George's Primary School, please contact the Admissions Department at Hull City Council, who will provide you with an appeal form. Details of how to appeal will be on your appeal form.

Your appeal will be heard within 20 school days of the closing date for appeals by an independent panel arranged locally by the Trust. If you have any queries regarding an appeal, please contact Mrs Harrison on (01482) 342229.
